March 16, 2010 was a day that changed our family, for the better. Annalee Jo Halterman entered into this world at 11:21am. She is the most darling baby girl I have ever laid my eyes on. I have seen a lot of cute babies throughout my 26 years of life but there was something very special about seeing my niece for the first time. When Ben came out and told us she was here with that smile on his face and then proceeded to show us pictures, I couldn't help the tears from welling up. This little girl that we had been waiting for was finally here. We could hold her, kiss her and love her like we had been dreaming of for months now.She lays so peacefully and innocently making me want to freeze time. She is absolutely perfect in my eyes and I look forward to watching her grow into a beautiful young woman, but I also hope that time comes ever so slowly. Becau
se of her, I will now stop and take in the little moments in life. Thank you Annalee for making me realize even more that life is a precious gift and we must enjoy every second! I am already such a proud aunt and I know that you will only continue to make me proud. I just hope that now in turn, I can be that influence in your life that will not only teach you to enjoy the little moments but will also teach you to love hard and laugh often.
