But have no fear because we did in fact dress up Stella for her 1st Halloween. About a month ago I debated on whether we should go through the hassle of dressing her up when 1. She wouldn't remember and 2. She couldn't "trick-or-treat". The more I thought about it, the more I thought we definitely have to do it, for pictures if nothing else so we can share with her at some point down the road.
It's funny because even that night as we were out and about Ryan's Mom mentioned how she couldn't remember what Ryan was his first Halloween. I doubt my Mom could remember what I was either. So that made me even more glad we did it and happy that we have pictures of it for proof. I feel like there is no way I will forget this precious little thing dressed up as a red hot chili pepper!
Why chili pepper you ask? As we were browsing the internet for an idea all we were seeing were such plain costumes. And no, I'm not going there on what I thought was "plain" because sure enough one of you probably has dressed your child as something I mention! :) Since everyone thinks Stella looks exactly like her Daddy, when we saw the chili pepper, it clicked. Daddy loves all things hot and spicy. So there ya have it, red hot chili pepper it had to be!
