It's been exactly 2 weeks since I last posted...yikes! I'm so sorry to my very few readers out there! I guess I have just been busy, well I don't guess, I know. Since I last posted I have done a lot of shopping, eating, celebrating, socializing, traveling, working and decorating.
Back in October I made a Christmas deadline for myself. My deadline, which was December 13th, meant I would be done decorating, shopping, wrapping, etc. I would just sit back and snicker at all of you who were not done preparing for Christmas. I have to say I am pretty close to making my deadline and if I get a lot of wrapping done this weekend then I will be even more close. We have a beautiful tree sitting in our bay window but there are no beautifully wrapped presents under it...yet! That is my hope for this Saturday, to wrap some presents.
Bring on Christmas...the Harpers are almost ready! :) But until then...bring on a Christmas Open House, the ACC Championship (Go Hokies!), a Tacky Christmas Party, the Nutcracker, Brooke's Bachelorette Party, Brooke's Bridesmaids Luncheon, and Brooke and Will's Rehearsal and Wedding. Yes, that is my next couple of weeks before the holiday is actually here! I just love this time of year.
HAHA! I'm very behind! I blame it on the lack of motivate I've had the past month and a half. Hopefully in a very few short weeks my motivation will be where it was prior to being pregnant. Inside of the house is half decorated, though! =) As for gifts, Ryan and I are cheating this year and giving gift cards to local restaurants that our parents have never experienced (zynadoa, staunton grocery) so that they can have a fun date night AND enjoy the local foods that are cooked up.
