So husby wanted a new pair of shades. There are 2 things Ryan doesn't buy cheap (well minus golf & hunting related things) and that is watches and sunglasses. I, on the other hand have probably 5 pairs of cheap-o sunglasses in the console of my car. I have a tendency to drop them or sit on them or just easily break them in general.
We went one day last week to look at new sunglasses for Ryan and while we were there my eyes started to wander. The lady helping us must've picked up on it because she then said, "If you buy 1 pair of polarized sunglasses, any 2nd pair is $20 off." Dang it. I can't pass up a sale! So on Sunday we went back and walked away with 2 new pairs of sunglasses. We considered it our birthday gifts to each other since we didn't get each other anything. Ryan can always find a good reason to purchase something and this time I was right there with him finding that reason we couldn't leave without them. :) Plus we had a gift card...double bonus!
So here is what we walked away with. Two pairs of Ray Bans. My first pair of nice sunglasses that weren't $10 at TJ Maxx. Please pray that I keep them longer than a month without damage! However, I won't hold my breath. I will say though that I never thought I would be able to really tell a difference...boy was I wrong. It's amazing how much better a nice pair of sunglasses feels on your face. They don't even give you a headache...imagine that! Haha. And furthermore, my husby is so stinkin sexyyy in his aviators! It's so Tom Cruise Top Gun style, except even sexier. :)
On another note, now I have a better looking pair of sunglasses to rock my monogrammed craokies with. Yay! I have a slight obsession with all things monogrammed, but I'll spare you that story right now and save it for another post. Ryan's croakies (Southern Point Co.) is a company that sells all things related to German Shorthaired Pointers, which is Hokie's breed. Let me just say, we love the brand.
