This little girl completes us, all 14 lbs. 11 oz. of her. Ryan said it so sweetly in the card he got just for her:
"I don't know how your mother and I got so lucky to have such an amazing little girl. You are the most beautiful thing I have ever seen."
I hate to gush over her in this entire post, but then I remember that one day she will read this. And when that day comes, I want her to know how much we loved her not only the instant we met her, but every day from that point on, too.
The weekend before Valentine's Day, Stella was invited to her 1st kid party. Despite the look on her face, I'm pretty sure she had a great time. She loves to watch people and study everything so I'm pretty sure the excitement of the kids, kept her quite entertained.
So once again, our Valentine's Day was low-key and absolutely perfect. We got showered with love from each other, parents, grandparents, and babysitter friends. Thank you to everyone who made our day so special. And thank you to Stella for proving to us that we are capable of a love we never even knew existed until you came into our world.
