Christmas JOY

Another Christmas has come & gone but what an amaaaaazing Christmas it was. Ryan and I discussed several times over the weekend how blessed we are. We take for granted the fact that we don't have to travel anywhere for Christmas. Our families live within 5 minutes of each other and all of our grandparents live within 20 minutes of us. We have one family Christmas get together left this evening with my Dad's side. Then the sadness begins...taking down the decorations, throwing out the tree and looking at the scale and regretting the decisions of everything you chose to eat over the weekend. But on a brighter, more fun note...

I figured why not share some of the amazing gifts I got this past weekend. And no, not because gifts are the most important thing about Christmas but lets be honest...you all would love to know some of the things I got. That's always fun, right!? So here I chose 10 of the fun things I received and in no particular order...

1. a very pretty Coach purse

2. TomTom GPS so we can stop borrowing everyone else's! 3. Seagate external hard drive, which was MUCH needed
4. True Religion jeans (And yes, they amazingly make you feel hot! Haha, don't judge.)
5. Modern Family Season 1 (our new favorite show)
6. Zac Brown's "You get what you give" CD & ornament - (Ry and I have been collecting ornaments as we go places and this year we saw ZBB in concert)
7. some new black Banana flats
8. Hokie stuff for my tree. I decided I was going to make a mini VT tree (starting next year) and now I have the trimmings for it!

9. Some actual real UGG boots that my husband surprised me with. I didn't even know he knew what they were, nor the fact that I would like a pair. So thank you, Tom Brady, for endorsing these and running them on commercials during football games! Ryan even said "And you can fold them down, too, which I think would look really cute on you." Ry, I sure do love you sweet thing.

10. Some people say they don't like gift cards but let me tell you, not the case in this house. We LOVE gift cards and got several this year that we can't wait to spend. And yes, they ranged from Victoria's Secret to Wal-Mart to the Gun Shack! Can you imagine the possibilities of a little mix of all 3?! :)

So needless to say, we had a pretty great Christmas. And even more so, we got to spend some much needed, quality time with the Halterman, Harper, Armstrong & Jarrels families. And we topped off the weekend with a wonderful Sunday church service. Ahhhhh, I love Christmas. I love my family. I love Ryan's family. I love my life.
