INKtastic

So I recently came across a wonderful website called INKtastic.  They make custom t-shirts.  Yeah, I know what you're thinking, "Aren't there tons of places that make custom t-shirts?"  The short answer is yes.  But this place is still super cool and even inexpensive, too.  You can think of pretty much anything you want and they will turn it into something you can wear on a shirt.

I just recently ordered two things.

Order #1

Our friends, Matt & Elizabeth, graduated from two rival schools.  Matt graduated from VT (Go Hokies!) and Elizabeth graduated from UVA.  Do you know how hard it is to find clothing representing both schools for their sweet boy, Mason?  It's hard.  Even Elizabeth said she has a hard time finding anything.

This is where INKtastic comes in!  I googled the VT and UVA logos online to find two similar images for each school.  I uploaded them to Picnik and turned them into a side by side picture that I could then upload to INKtastic to put on a t-shirt for little Mason.  I added "Cutest Wahokie" because he is definitely that...and wallah!  This was the finished product:
I gave it to them at Mason's 1st birthday party last Sunday and they LOVED it.  Woo hoo!  There is nothing better than when you feel like you found "the perfect gift" for someone.

Order #2

Remember our trip to San Diego?  And the wonderful Mike & Tracey?  Well they are expecting their first baby, Brody, this December 18th.  If you don't remember, Mike was my high school basketball coach.  The best high school basketball coach ever I might add.  Anyway, when I found out they were expecting I jokingly told Coach Lilly that I would buy him/her their first pair of Nikes.  But then I soon realized I really had to do it!

I found an adorable pair to send to Baby Brody.

After the Nikes arrived in the mail I thought to myself, "Brody has to have something to represent Fort Defiance out in Cali, too!"  After all, his Dad is an FD alum and was a coach there.  This is where INKtastic saved the day again!  I decided Brody needed a onesie complete with Indian head, "Go Fort!" and his last name on the back.  And wallah!  This was the finished product:
Tracey will get this gift at her baby shower next Sunday and I can't wait to hear what she (& Mike) thought!  I know they will love it being the sports enthusiasts they are.  Of course they are so appreciative & sweet, they'd love it whether they really did or not! :)

The best part of INKtastic is how easy the process is.  It simply took uploading a picture to the site where it then showed me what it looked like on whatever clothing I chose.  If you put wording on your clothing like I did above, they have tons of different fonts to chose from.  And after a few clicks of some buttons you will have your order in a super timely fashion.

Honestly, you can't go wrong.  And you are welcome, INKtastic, for my free advertising. :) I'll see you next time. ;)
