It's football season! This FF picture should give you a good laugh. This was the 1987 Super Bowl Championship game. The Redskins vs the Broncos and the Redskins took home the big win!
Yeah, I see that I'm sporting a NY Giants jersey. I'm pretty sure I had NO clue what was going on and was just glad my cousins had come over to play! My brothers, however, did like the Giants at the time and that would be their jersey I stole to wear. I'm still to this day not a huge NFL fan, but if I'm going to cheer for a team, it's still the Redskins (or maybe I should say it IS the Redskins since apparently I cheered for the Giants in 1987, haha).
Besides that all of my family was together celebrating the Super Bowl (and we still do that today), you know what I really love about this picture? My Granny's homemade paper headdress reading "GO SKINS." She was such an amazing lady and something about this picture makes me really miss her. I miss her everyday, but sometimes seeing an old picture makes me realize it even more.

Oh my gosh!! Hahaha I love our family! Thanks for reminding me of all the great times we have had. This is another reminder that we are all so blessed...everyday!
