Country Comes To Town

We all know how I feel about country music and their awards shows.  Yes, they're THE BEST awards show out there.  Hands down!  Just in case you forgot the last time I told you.  ;)  I definitely need to add attending one to my bucket list.

It was Brad Paisley & Carrie Underwood's 4th time hosting the show, which I think is awesome.  They make an amazing duo when it comes to working together.  That's obvious from their hosting and their song collaborations.

So for my favorites this time around...

Favorite Presenter:
Eric Stonestreet - better known as "Cam" from Modern Family

Favorite Performances (b/c I couldn't pick 1):

Zac Brown Band & Gregg Allman

Lady Antebellum

Kenny Chesney & Grace Potter

Little Big Town & Lionel Ritchie

Daris Rucker & Lionel Ritchie

Sugarland & Matt Nathanson

Brad Paisley & Carrie Underwood

Faith Hill

Favorite Dress:
I was really into Dierks Bentley's wife, Cassidy, and her dress choice!  I like black and I like the lace look these days.  I also like the short dress look (especially if you have great legs)!

Favorite Shock:
Scotty McCreery performed?!  He was on the American Idol stage last year and on the CMA stage this year.  Wow...kudos to him!  And he will be touring with Brad Paisley?!  I'm pretty sure he never expected to be where he is now at this time last year.

Favorite Male:
I really didn't have a favorite this year so I'll just go with a male I like and have enjoyed seeing perform live, Keith Urban.  Here he is performing at the CMAs last night:

Favorite Female:
Carrie Underwood of course.  She is so wonderful in my eyes!

Favorite Couple:
Blake Shelton & Miranda Lambert - As redneck & inapproprate as Blake Shelton can be, they still make an adorable and so-in-love couple.  I just love their support for one another.

They both won Male & Female Artist of the Year.
So that wraps up another amazing night in Nashville.  I will always enjoy how the producers make it more of a concert featuring all of the amazing performers instead of just an awards show.  Thank you once again country music!
