Flashback Friday #3

I'm sure you have probably heard of Young Life.  YL is in lots of high schools throughout the Valley.  When I was in high school our YL "Club" at Fort was combined with Lee High on Monday nights.  Another name for Club was "a party with a purpose", but it really was just another fun way of learning about God's love for us as teenagers. Because of having our Club with another school, it was there I became good friends with some of the Lee students.  Every Monday night Katie Harmon & Chris Pannell would come pick me up & we would head to YL at the Hunter McGuire gym.  After YL, everyone would always head to Dairy Queen for ice cream.  I thoroughly enjoyed Club nights and made some wonderful friends that I still keep in touch with today.

Young Life brings the good news of Jesus Christ into the lives of adolescents with an approach that is respectful of who kids are and hopeful about who they can be.
