What have I been doing tonight? Cleaning out my DVR recordings. Why? Some good TV coming up this week and I need plenty of room available. I've never really been a TV junkie, but the older I get the more I enjoy being a homebody, which in turn finds me in front of the TV more.
First and foremost and most importantly, we say goodbye to the legendary Oprah Show this week. This deeply saddens me, but I will post more on that later (yes, that gets its own post later)! So Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday will all be Oprah finale shows after 25 seasons. I'm sure I will have to watch with tissues in hand.
Then tomorrow night starts back to my Monday night rituals...the Bachelorette! At first I wasn't particularly excited about Ashley Hebert being the next Bachelorette, but the closer we get to premiere, the more excited I am getting. And who doesn't love watching 25 guys go after 1 girl?! It's comical! I just hope there is plenty of drama for us to critique, which is almost always a given.
Also tomorrow night starts the season finale of Dancing with the Stars. I'm not completely obssessed with this show, but I do enjoy watching it if I have nothing else on tap on the DVR. Who is left and who do I want to win? I actually have come to love all 3 for different reasons. I love Kristie because she cracks me up and I can't believe she is 60 years old. I love Hines because of his background story and upbringing as well as how sweet he was when his partner, Kym, was injured last week. He was a complete sweetheart. And I love Chelsea because she can actually dance and I envy her because of that. White girl with good moves!
And to finish off the amazing week of good TV...American Idol has its finale this week with Scotty McCreery and Lauren Alaina competing for the crown. For once, I really don't have a favorite between these two. I've pretty much liked the entire top 6 this year for American Idol and think they were all pretty amazing. One thing for sure is that the American Idol finale on Wednesday night will be unbelievable. Their finales are always top notch entertainment.
So if you are looking for me after 5pm this week, check my couch! ;)
Signing off,
Reality Junkie Queen
